Swampgrass NewsBlues news with a Swampgrass twist
June is reasonably busy with shows and we’re obviously excited as always to be at Glastonbury again in 2016 (the best week of the year by far). Also we have some time to work on new material so hope to have some new tunes in tow in the near future. In June and early July you can see us at the following places of fine repute:
4th June – The Lauriston Hotel. Weston-Super-Mare. 3pm (outside in the garden!)
17th June – The Old Ship Aground. Minehead. 9pm
19th June – Fatherfest at The Alhampton Inn. Alhampton. 5pm.
19th June – Jelli at The Fringe Festival. Clifton. 10pm.
22nd to 26th June – Glastonbury Festival. Various venues. (Check Facebook for details during the festival)
2nd July – Lisa’s 50th at The Hawthorns. Glastonbury.
At the end of August we are embarking on our first End of Summer tour. The following are the confirmed shows so far:
27th August – Camping Be Cider Seaside Festival. Burton Bradstock
28th August – Aberjazz Festival. Fishguard. Wales.
29th August – The Wild Boar. Brecon. Wales. 5pm
1st September – Glastonbury (Secret location, tickets limited. More details soon….)
2nd September – The Platform Tavern. Southampton
3rd September – Hobphin Festival. Weston-Super-Mare
3rd September – The Old Pier. Burnham-On-Sea.
4th September – The Railway Sunday Session. Ashcott. 2pm.
Hoping to add a couple of shows to that list but it’s looking rather tasty and we can’t wait.
In sad news we’ve had confirmation that Wild Boar Blues festival has been postponed to September which is a shame as it’s a beautiful site to spend a July evening but they have a bit of work to do in upgrading the site infrastructure so have taken the sensible precaution to postpone the festival.
