Swampgrass NewsBlues news with a Swampgrass twist
Another New Year is almost upon us
Doesn’t the time fly? Well yes it does. Here we are almost at the end of another year. 2017, you’ve been interesting. Some great gigs, some amazing gigs and some awful van trouble. Still, onward and upward. There are a couple of shows left for the year with us heading to old favourite The Old Ship Aground in Minehead on December 8th and then laying low until we go crazy speakeasy style at The Hawthorns in Glastonbury on New Year’s Eve. Then, in January, recording!
New Year’s Eve Speakeasy Spectacular
Our friends the Marsh Fires and Steve Henderson will be joining us for a right old knees up at The Hawthorns in Glastonbury for New Year’s Eve. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are £10 available in advance from the venue or online at We Got TIckets. There are prizes throughout the night and a prize for the best dressed. Also if you buy a ticket before December 1st you could win a dinner for two at Hawthorns. The dress theme is of course the speakeasy prohibition era. So find those feathers, polish that cane and dig out the spats. It’s time to bring in the year in style.
The show in 2015 sold out with more than a week to spare so don’t miss out and book your tickets early. If there are any tickets available on the door they will be £15.
