Swampgrass NewsBlues news with a Swampgrass twist
We are very excited about Christmas. Well, the Hawthorns Christmas Party on the 23rd of December has us very excited. The rest of it happens every year and is less exciting each time (specially as it seems to start just after Halloween these days, but let’s not get all grumpy about things).
So, for the princely sum of £7.50 you get the very amazing boys of Exit Black braving the winter roads all the way from Luton to rock your Christmas, you get the very rock but intimate acoustic stylings of Mr Shaun Ryan Buxton starting the night off and some time around 11pm we go all blues at ya. There’s also a free finger buffet – of course – and all the finest drinks your money can buy from the bar. Doors at 8pm, no entry after 11pm.
We spend a very fine new year’s eve with our friends at the Old Ship Aground in Minehead. We’ll be playing to around 1am so if you’re in the area come and have a cider or two.
We have a quiet January as we’re going to be all disciplined and come up with a bunch of new material. Hopefully we’ll showcase some at Glastonbury Calling in February (Tickets available now).
Very happy to have all but the last few dates of our Spring tour sorted out. The tour runs from March 24th to April 9th and has us all over the countryside. If we are playing near you, come and say hi.
